A sound batsman who emerged from Ananda College who hit five half-centuries for Sri Lanka A XI on tour of India, Kandamby, who holds the highest individual score of 144 in the traditional Ananda-Nalanda match in 1999, carries the guiding coaching experience to guide the destinies of Jaffna Stallions at the forthcoming Lanka Premier Leageue.
Head Coach of Kandy Tuskers, former Sri Lanka captain Hashan Tillakaratne will be a heady lending weight to guiding the fortunes of the side at the forthcoming historic Lanka Premier League (LPL). Besides his sound experience as one of Sri Lanka’s toughest campaigners with the bat as a trademark occupier of the crease who formed the 1996 world cup winning team, Tillekeratne, now aged 53, will pack considerable coaching experience to the Kandy Tuskers as its head coach.
The hard hitting former England batsman, Owais Shah will bring a wealth of experience in mentoring the Dambulla Viikings as its Head Coach in the staging of the historic Lanka Premier League by Sri Lanka Cricket that unfolds on November 26 at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium in Sooriyawewa, Hambantota.
Moin Khan, the former Pakistan captain and wicket-keeper batsman, will be in charge of the Galle Gladiators as Head Coach. A middle order batsman with a penchant to collar bowlers, Moin, who was one of the chirpiest stumpers, will impart his long experience as a wealth to guiding the Galle Gladiators. Khan will form a Pakistan twosome combination together with Galle Gladiators skipper Shahid Afridi in steering the side’s fortunes in the showpiece Sri Lankan 20-20 tournament.
Herschelle Gibbs, the former South African star batsman, who made a name as a wonder batsman for his spellbinding stroke play of out of this world classy shots, is one of the renowned former cricketers packing the clout to the coaching staff of the historic Lanka Premier League (LPL) that will unfold on November 26 in Hambantota.
