Besides his sound experience as one of Sri Lanka’s toughest campaigners with the bat as a trademark occupier of the crease who formed the 1996 world cup winning team, Tillekeratne, now aged 53, will pack considerable coaching experience to the Kandy Tuskers as its head coach. The hard hitting former England batsman, Owais Shah will bring a wealth of experience in mentoring the Dambulla Viikings as its Head Coach in the staging of the historic Lanka Premier League by Sri Lanka Cricket that unfolds on November 26 at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium in Sooriyawewa, Hambantota. Moin Khan, the former Pakistan captain and wicket-keeper batsman, will be in charge of the Galle Gladiators as Head Coach. A middle order batsman with a penchant to collar bowlers, Moin, who was one of the chirpiest stumpers, will impart his long experience as a wealth to guiding the Galle Gladiators.
